Exhibitions
This page features photographs and impressions from my exhibitions and other artistic events in which I have participated.
Each image is a silent testimony to my journey as an artist, a dialogue between light, color, and emotion that goes far beyond the screen.
With “In the Rhythm of the Earth, Remembering the Invisible”, a quiet, poetic dialogue between art and history emerges in the Blücherturm.
In the atmosphere of the old tower, my paintings find a space in which memory and spiritual depth are allowed to arise.
Thus, a place with history becomes a space of the present, open to new interpretations, open to art.
My painting, shaped by the female figure as a symbol of life, connection, and transformation, invites one to pause and feel what is communicated in subtle ways between human, animal, and nature. The works are not mere images; they are spaces for memory, empathy, and quiet strength.
The mighty tower of Rellinghausen, first mentioned in 1567, was once a place of jurisdiction and also a site of the witch trials. At least 42 people, mostly women, were innocently convicted here.
Today, the tower is a protected monument and, since 1999, a place of art, remembrance, and exchange. Between its walls, past and present meet, and a centuries‑old ivy grows there, a natural monument that unites nature and architecture.
The title of my exhibition reflects my artistic attitude.
“In the Rhythm of the Earth” stands for my deep connection to nature, to origin and cycle.
“Remembering the Invisible” refers to what we do not see but feel, the inner essence that moves us.
My art is not a mere pursuit of “beauty for beauty’s sake.” For me, beauty is an inner necessity, an act of care, gentleness, and resilience against the harshness and acceleration of today’s world. Especially in difficult times, this quiet space becomes a place of regeneration, inner connection, and remembrance.
In my art, sensual female figures, symbolic animals, and intuitive color worlds encounter one another in an atmosphere of stillness, hope, and harmony. My works, whether abstract or figurative, are permeated by an emotional core that touches both visually and spiritually.
The owl is a recurring figure. It stands for wisdom and mindfulness, for caution, sharpness, and a pure, intuitive perception.
My art is an aesthetic, emotional, and spiritual refuge in a world that is often loud, rough, and estranged from what is essential.
My work is a space in which the human and the natural can find each other again in silence.
I love creating places where the soul can dwell, refuges of light and stillness, where nature whispers and beauty is not an ornament but a necessity.
My artistic work offers the outer world, which is often problematic and chaotic, a peaceful response and a return to oneself and to our surroundings. Why should the simple, the beautiful, and the human not also be hopeful?
This is how my way of seeing the world and sensing the everyday that surrounds, conquers, and embraces us unfolds.
Here, this unique moment is realized in images, a moment that lights up before us and disappears just as quickly, never returning in the same form. A cycle of birth, end, and new beginning. Symbols of harmony as well as of beginning and completion.
